Houston fashion store owner killed: Matthew Archield’s mother comes forward after he was murdered on the North Freeway!

Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – Investigators said they are one step closer to finding the suspects responsible for a burglary that ended in the murder of a Houston-area fashion store owner.

Adrian R Box is one of the suspects identified and charged with premeditated murder in the death of 33-year-old Matthew Archchild.

“It’s an incident in a workplace in open daylight. I know someone who knows something. The only thing I ask the family, the shooter’s family, and anyone else involved is to say something. Because that’s a loss,” said Angela Archchild, the victim’s mother. It’s a terrible loss for us. It’s a great loss. My heart aches. My soul aches, and it eats me every day. Every day I can’t see my son.”

At about 7 p.m. on March 19, Harris County Sheriffs’ deputies responded to the call for an aggravated burglary at the newly acquired Wealth and Fashion Store at 12725 North Freeway.

At the store, Representatives found Matthew Archchild with multiple gunshot wounds, including a head injury. Matthew Archchild was taken to a nearby hospital, but authorities said he died four days later after his life support devices were removed.

Investigators have released photos of the three suspects involved, one of whom is Brooks. They are described as black men between the ages of 20 and 30.

The man in white was still an important unidentified person.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Brooks’ whereabouts to call the mayor’s homicide unit at 713-274-9100 or Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
